📋 Description

• Manage a team of senior engineers • Own a transversal core engineering domain and maintain operational excellence • Drive tactical and strategic vision for the domain • Conduct code and architecture reviews and provide technical and design feedback • Participate actively in recruiting and help grow the engineering team • Provide performance feedback, hold one-on-ones, and support direct reports’ career development • Partner with Technical and Product counterparts to define team vision and direction aligned with organizational and business goals • Select technology vendors and make build-or-buy decisions with the team • Communicate technical and product decisions, resolve blocking issues, and collaborate with organizational leaders • Shape the roadmap, improve developer experience, and drive faster, more reliable delivery across the company

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully built and led lean teams, ensuring they’re productive, motivated, and capable of delivering impactful results • Able to foster safe, collaborative, and inclusive environments • Skilled at shaping and driving complex, user-focused roadmaps in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences • Knowledge of the technology industry to support tooling and framework decisions • Able to lead by setting context, facilitating collaboration, and gaining buy-in across product, design, engineering, and leadership • Previous experience working as an Engineer • Familiarity with tooling across the technology stack • Hands-on experience building highly available and distributed systems, especially container orchestration systems, preferably • Experience or ability to learn technologies including TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, C#, Go, GitLab, AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Datadog, Fastly, Kong, and Cilium
