📋 Description

• Evaluate and implement automated testing tools, including Playwright-based frameworks and UI regression tools such as Meticulous • Write and maintain test scripts and automated checks • Own high-volume, repetitive QA work, including dependency/package upgrade pull requests • Track the age and progress of open pull requests through QA and flag bottlenecks • Build a clear Dev-to-QA handoff process involving tagging, status, and communication • Proactively obtain screenshots, context, and reproduction steps from developers • Help design phased, contained release rollouts that limit the blast radius of bad deployments • Grow into ownership of the release and rollout process in an SRE direction • Work day-to-day with the current QA engineer and report to engineering leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Engineering background with experience writing and shipping code, not only executing test cases • Experience building and maintaining test automation in a real production environment using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar • Comfortable pushing back with senior engineers when a process or pull request is not ready to ship • Product-first approach to technical and infrastructure solutions • Significant overlap with US business hours • Candidates must be based in the United States or Latin America • US-based candidates must answer whether they now or in the future require US visa sponsorship
