📋 Description

• Own the creative quality of brand and design work across identity, web, and launch projects • Set creative direction, push the work, and ensure final deliverables meet a high standard • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary design team • Help designers develop craft, strategic thinking, presentation skills, and independence • Serve as senior creative partner on key client engagements • Lead reviews and presentations with founders and senior stakeholders • Build trust, manage creative feedback, and navigate difficult decisions • Participate in discovery and shape creative approaches for new business • Lead or support pitches and presentations • Communicate Nen Creative’s point of view and help win desired projects • Improve critiques, QA, creative workflows, case studies, and brand-practice operations • Work with project management and leadership as the studio grows

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in brand, design, or creative roles • Ideally experience within a strong branding or creative agency environment • Exceptional design judgment and craft • Extremely strong client-facing and presentation skills • Ability to articulate and defend creative decisions, manage feedback, and build trust • High ownership and reliability • Willingness to work late nights and weekends as needed; not a strictly 9–5 role • Ability to move between high-level creative direction and hands-on execution • Must be based in the United States • Portfolio site URL required • LinkedIn URL required • Resume required • Sponsorship question required; posting does not state that sponsorship is unavailable • Full-time role setup listed
