• Manage and grow Nexans' Connect business across Quebec and Atlantic Canada through the electrical distributor channel • Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager, Eastern Canada • Execute the regional sales plan in alignment with the Eastern RSM and National Sales Director, Connect • Build and maintain relationships with distributor branch managers, counter staff, inside sales teams, electrical contractors, and project influencers • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within distributor accounts and with prospective distribution partners • Promote the full Connect product range and increase share of wallet • Maintain customer activity, opportunity, and pipeline records • Prepare and deliver product presentations, quotations, and proposals • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments and report findings • Participate in distributor training sessions, trade events, and product launches • Collaborate with commercial operations on order management and customer issue resolution • Support reporting, territory analysis, business reviews, planning, and forecasting • Achieve and grow sales targets for Eastern Canada • Travel on the road approximately 80% of the week, including customer and branch visits and events • Spend approximately one week per month in Atlantic Canada
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered • 2-5 years of sales or customer-facing experience, ideally within wire and cable, electrical products, or industrial distribution • Bilingual in French and English — written and spoken — required • Valid driver's license and vehicle • Willingness to travel extensively within Eastern Canada • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and drive commercial outcomes in a field sales environment • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with distributor personnel and contractors • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a broad territory independently with minimal supervision • Commercial curiosity and drive to grow market share and develop customer relationships • Familiarity with the Quebec and Atlantic Canada electrical distributor landscape and contractor market is a strong asset • Cable or electrical industry experience is an asset
