📋 Description

• Provide advanced cloud operations for Akamai's security products, including the Zero Trust Security platform • Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and services • Design, implement, and maintain automation tools and processes for operational tasks, system provisioning, and configuration management • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to identify and address potential issues proactively • Collaborate with the security team to secure systems and data • Identify process improvements, implement best practices, and drive adoption of new technologies • Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in systems, applications, and infrastructure components • Maintain high availability of infrastructure • Deliver continuous integration and continuous delivery of the platform

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent • Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role • Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices is ideal • Programming and scripting skills, e.g., Python, Go, Shell • Experience with cloud platforms, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP • Experience with container orchestration tools, e.g., Kubernetes • In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts • Knowledge of DNS/HTTP/TCP/IP network protocols • Proficiency in configuration management tools, e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack • Ability to work in a dynamic environment • Good problem solving skills
