📋 Description

• Collaborate with the product engineering team and/or working group • Conduct regular Production Error Audits of operational metrics and deep-dive log analysis to proactively detect anomalies and error conditions • Design and implement software tools for debugging, check-listing, and product metric analysis • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for building releases and deploying them to testing, staging, and production environments • Triage and analyze customer escalations related to product operations and behavior • Identify, mitigate, and resolve product bugs • Participate as a Subject-Matter Expert in Technical Incidents • Perform root cause analysis and execute incident mitigations • Foster iterative improvement to processes, strategies, tools, and frameworks • Develop performant and scalable software • Manage the upgrade and deployment of a network of thousands of production servers

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field/experience • Interest in internet technologies and optimizations • Experience developing and monitoring backend applications, such as databases and queuing systems • Understanding of system limits and impacts on performance and scale • Experience with technologies such as Java, Angular, Spring Framework, NoSQL Databases, Realtime Service Delivery, and containerization technologies • Expertise with scripting languages in a Linux/Unix environment, such as shell, Bash, Python, or Ruby • Comfort with basic statistics • Enthusiasm for automation and building tools to streamline development processes and reduce manual toil
