• Reporting to the Head, Department of Family Practice, Central Zone • Working within a co-leadership model with the network Primary Health Care Manager • Provide service leadership and support to Network medical staff activities • Respond to physician network inquiries on specific topics • Provide contextual information about specific issues, individuals, communities, etc. • Meet with the respective Zone Department Head at a minimum once a month • Work in a co-leadership model with the Network Primary Health Care Manager • Advise and assist the Zone Department Head in family physician recruitment and retention within the Network • Chair meetings of the Network Family Practice Council on a regular basis • Maintain linkages with family physicians within the Network
• All applicants must be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) • All family physicians must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
