📋 Description

• Design end-to-end AI system architectures, including agent-based systems • Implement core AI system components in production code • Build, test, and maintain RAG pipelines, including GraphRAG and emerging approaches such as OmniRAG • Develop backend services, APIs, and data pipelines integrating AI models into real workflows • Write and maintain Python code daily using Azure’s AI SDK and cloud-native services • Implement document digitization and classification workflows • Implement data vectorization and semantic search workflows • Implement content generation and summarization workflows • Prepare, structure, and validate training and evaluation datasets with production constraints • Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions • Raise engineering quality across the team through example • Build and ship enterprise-grade AI products for NPX’s SaaS platform, which automates nuclear workflows for efficient, safer, and more cost-effective operations

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing AI system architectures and implementing production code • Experience building, testing, and maintaining retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, including GraphRAG and emerging approaches such as OmniRAG • Backend services, APIs, and data pipeline development • Daily Python development using Azure’s AI SDK and cloud-native services • Experience with React, Next.js, Azure, Minio, Weaviate, Ollama, Postgres, and Redis • Experience implementing document digitization and classification, data vectorization and semantic search, and content generation and summarization workflows • Ability to prepare, structure, and validate training and evaluation datasets under production constraints • Ability to contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions • Legally eligible to work in Canada • Must not require employment visa sponsorship to work in Canada • Active security clearance with a utility is relevant, but applicants without clearance are encouraged to apply
