📋 Description

• Manage the overall planning and execution of assigned project activities in accordance with NuScale policies and procedures • Document and maintain the approved baseline, earned value planning and management, and project execution strategy in a Project Management Plan • Communicate the project baseline and requirements to the project team • Interface with and support discipline managers and teams • Support performing organizations with advanced project knowledge and company priority information • Proactively identify and resolve project problems and anticipated challenges • Escalate issues within the NuScale organization when necessary through risk and issue management • Provide weekly and monthly status reports covering project performance, earned value metrics, variance analysis, schedule and cost risk mitigations, and issue resolution • Coordinate with performing organization management to authorize work and assign work package managers and qualified resources • Develop, maintain, and control project-specific plans and procedures • Lead diverse cross-functional teams advancing NuScale Small Modular Reactor design, fabrication, and deployment • Ensure project delivery meets customer requirements and achieves cost, schedule, quality, and other targets • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management or related field dealing with a high degree of complexity and multiple interfaces • Demonstrated application of Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge principles and processes • Demonstrated application of integrated cost and schedule control, or ANSI EIA-748-C Earned Value Management System practices • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification program completion preferred • Experienced leader for a licensed nuclear design project • At least basic knowledge of Pressurized Water Reactor designs • Project management experience in the nuclear industry, energy industry, power plant architect/engineering, power plant engineering procurement construction, or US Department of Energy nuclear projects preferred • Understanding of the nuclear development environment and fabrication of components related to NSSS and reactor design as regulated by the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission • Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 • Ability to travel locally and nationally using common forms of transportation • Ability to understand and communicate clearly using a phone, personal interaction, and computers • Ability to learn new job functions and comprehend and apply new concepts quickly in a rapidly evolving environment
