• Define and own OCHIN’s enterprise Epic platform strategy and multiyear roadmap. • Provide executive leadership for Epic application design, configuration, testing, deployment, stabilization, optimization, and long-term support. • Drive predictable delivery across installations, upgrades, and releases. • Establish service ownership, escalation models, and accountability for production, Epic performance, and member experience. • Define and monitor service performance metrics and improve Epic customer service. • Lead continuous optimization to improve provider experience, patient engagement, access, throughput, and operational efficiency. • Oversee the portfolio of Epic applications and their integration with upstream and downstream systems. • Establish governance for intake, prioritization, and sequencing of Epic work. • Partner with clinical, operational, technical, revenue, infrastructure, and security leaders. • Lead executive communications, adoption strategies, and change management for Epic initiatives and release cycles. • Lead and develop a large, multidisciplinary Epic Applications organization. • Own Epic-related financial planning, budgets, vendor relationships, licensing, investment decisions, compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, and downtime resilience. • Oversee incident response and root cause analysis for Epic-related risks. • Travel nationally for on-site Go Live support based on business requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree required. • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Informatics, Business, or related field strongly preferred. • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in health IT, Epic systems management, or digital health operations. • Executive-level accountability. • Experience leading large, complex teams and partnering with clinical, operational, technical, and revenue leaders. • Deep expertise in Epic architecture, modules, and lifecycle delivery across a complex healthcare environment. • Experience leading large-scale Epic implementations, upgrades, stabilization efforts, optimization programs, and ongoing maintenance. • Ability to define vision, set strategy, and lead through influence in highly matrixed organizations. • Experience transforming application delivery and support organizations to improve customer satisfaction and service outcomes. • Ability to operate Epic as a scalable product and service across diverse organizations and geographies. • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, capital planning, resource management, and vendor oversight. • Commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and data-driven decision making. • Epic certifications in relevant applications strongly preferred. • Reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English. • Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment. • High-speed Internet service. • Ability to work in a distraction-free workplace. • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required as a condition of employment. • Ability to travel nationally, up to 20% for on-site Go Live support as required.
