📋 Description

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain Bridgeway’s platform supporting software development and deployment • Build scalable, resilient, and efficient platform solutions using cloud services and modern software design frameworks • Create modular, reusable infrastructure using Terraform and related tools • Strengthen DevOps practices through interdepartmental and cross-functional automation • Architect, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform functions and customer needs at scale • Deliver solutions using event-driven, object-oriented, and functional design patterns • Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions for reliability and performance • Define and maintain platform-system lifecycle processes covering updates, patches, and security compliance • Resolve cloud infrastructure issues, analyze performance, and implement optimizations • Plan infrastructure scaling for growing business needs • Apply security-first practices to meet SOC, SOC2, HIPAA, NIST, and regulatory requirements • Implement and manage IAM, firewalls, and SIEM solutions • Integrate diverse and non-traditional systems • Lead assigned projects and drive cross-team collaboration, delivery, and accountability • Write clean, efficient, and documented code following development standards • Participate in the on-call rotation for platform-service reliability and availability • Use generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to streamline workflows and accelerate delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of platform, cloud, or SRE engineering experience • Advanced knowledge of AWS and Azure • Solid understanding of Python, Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages • Experience transitioning legacy environments to modern cloud practices • Strong experience with Git and collaborative workflows • Intermediate proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code frameworks • Intermediate experience with CI/CD pipeline development and tools • Intermediate proficiency with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes • Solid understanding of containerization tools such as Docker, Podman, and LXC • Ability to operate well amidst ambiguity • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Experience using generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
