📋 Description

• Design and build production dbt models on Databricks as the business source of truth • Support external reporting with accurate, governed data • Own data quality through testing, CI/CD, documentation, and team patterns • Build and evolve Databricks dashboards and semantic metrics for self-service • Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and analytics stakeholders to create durable data products • Drive AI-native workflows using Cursor, Claude, or equivalent tools • Design models and documentation usable by LLM consumers, agents, and analysts

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in analytics engineering or equivalent, with end-to-end ownership of production models • Expert SQL • Deep dbt experience, including architecture, incremental models, tests, macros, and CI/CD • Strong Databricks BI or equivalent semantic-layer delivery experience • Daily practical use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor • Ability to rigorously validate AI-generated outputs and design data for humans and agents • Ability to execute in ambiguity at startup pace with incomplete specifications • Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences • Owner mentality and ability to identify and fix problems • Familiarity with modern software engineering practices • Current authorization to work lawfully in the United States • Must answer whether employment-based immigration sponsorship is required
