📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted cybersecurity partner to Optiv’s clients • Design pragmatic Network/SASE/OT security solutions tailored to each client’s environment • Participate in the Field Center of Excellence and position Optiv services and technology partners • Maintain knowledge of clients’ security environments, business operations, security needs, and risk appetite • Identify security concerns, cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and strategic solutions • Qualify leads and partner with internal colleagues on scope, proposal management, and closure • Participate in sales opportunities across Optiv’s portfolio • Articulate how Optiv’s technology and services meet client stakeholder needs • Drive services and technology business to meet or exceed quota objectives • Monitor industry trends and support thought leadership, analysis, and guidance • Collaborate with service delivery to ensure consistent domain specialty materials • Develop security strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals, budget, metrics, and ROI • Maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders alongside sales partners • Drive complete security programs, including requirements gathering, technology selection, demonstrations, evaluations, and cross-organizational solutions • Interface with internal Optiv teams and partners to align expectations and ensure service delivery excellence • Identify emerging technologies for internal enablement and client exposure • Promote Optiv’s portfolio and security awareness at speaking and partner events and through social media • Build a trusted-advisor reputation and influential cybersecurity network • Share client feedback with internal teams for continuous improvement • Participate in account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management • Manage and prioritize proposals, contracts, RFIs, and RFPs • Maintain and obtain technical capabilities, soft skills, and security knowledge through development activities • Advance sales techniques and assist in finalizing sales

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent and applicable work experience • Minimum five (5) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer focused on Network/SASE/OT • Strong business and technical acumen • Ability to lead technology-focused discussions • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including whiteboard sessions • Strong attention to detail when reviewing SOWs, quotes, and client deliverables • Broad security-related knowledge and ongoing expertise development across domains • Vendor-specific certification(s) focused primarily on the specialty • CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP, or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications • Experience speaking about and evangelizing technology vision at events • Previous experience leading an information security function or program • Organizational membership and participation in chapter meetings such as ISACA or ISSA • Ability to hold a government-sponsored Secret Clearance
