📋 Description

• Build and ship product features end-to-end • Write clear and well defined design documentation • Mentor fellow engineers • Lead application architecture decisions • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software bugs • Implement back-end APIs in Python and Node.JS • Work on React, Vue, and Ember SPA front-ends • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers • Participate in an Agile software development life cycle • Write well-designed, maintainable, and testable code • Apply a product-minded, customer-focused approach • Contribute to open-source projects

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing web based applications • Experience guiding high quality work through delivery across multiple developers • Experience with a web framework such as Django or Rails • Experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Ember, Angular, etc.) • Experience writing REST / JSON APIs (Swagger / OpenAPI Spec) • Experience writing software tests • Ability to solve technical problems independently • B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent • Experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform • Experience with Node.JS and modern ES6 or TypeScript • Experience with React or Ember.JS • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS • Experience working on SaaS web applications • Bonus: Docker or Kubernetes experience • Background checks are required • Legally authorized to work in Canada; sponsorship or immigration support may be required to be disclosed
