📋 Description

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers within the designated territory. • Responsible for achieving sales, profit, and growth goals for all Orbit products with the assigned territory. • Maintain desirable mix and margins at distribution through assigned territory. • Ensure sales are profitable and meet or exceed expectations and requirements as set by management. • Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals. • Identify, evaluate, and select distributor partners within the assigned territory. • Develop and build direct relationships with Electrical distributors, contractors, MRO, and other users of Orbit’s products. • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our electrical products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to customers. • Provide product training for distributors and contractors. • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our unique labor-saving products and the breadth of the Orbit line to distributors and contractors. • Recommend appropriate solutions to contractors, end-users, and specifiers. • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and weekly itineraries and call reports. • Submit expense reports in a timely manner. • Timely follow-up and compliance with all requests from management. • Work closely with the sales team, inside sales and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required). • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Basic understanding of electrical products or the willingness to learn. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams; experience with CRM software is a plus. • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory, with occasional overnight stays as required to cover the territory.
