📋 Description

• Manage sophisticated commercial and business litigation matters from case development through resolution • Develop litigation strategy and analyze complex legal and factual issues • Draft persuasive motions, briefs, pleadings, and other substantive filings • Lead written discovery, document analysis, and case development • Take and defend depositions • Participate meaningfully in hearings and trial preparation • Work directly with clients and provide practical, strategic legal guidance • Communicate with opposing counsel, courts, clients, and internal teams • Independently manage multiple complex matters while maintaining exceptional work quality • Collaborate with experienced trial counsel on high-stakes disputes • Take increasing responsibility for case strategy, client relationships, and courtroom advocacy

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial litigation, business litigation, or sophisticated complex civil litigation experience • Current private practice law firm experience strongly preferred • J.D. from a Top 100 U.S. law school • Active bar license in the state where you reside • Exceptional legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills • Meaningful experience with motions, discovery, depositions, and substantive case responsibility • Experience at a sophisticated law firm strongly preferred • Big Law, Am Law, or highly regarded midsize firm training valued but not required • Ability to independently manage demanding litigation matters • Trial, arbitration, or significant courtroom experience is a plus • Portable business welcome but not required • Candidates primarily experienced in insurance defense, personal injury, or family law will not be considered • Must reside in the United States • Must maintain an active bar license in the state of residence
