📋 Description

• Work with the Government of Alberta's Digital Design and Delivery Division on service innovation, program review, and digital transformation projects • Participate in cross-functional program review or product delivery teams • Contribute to field research, backlog definition and refinement, sprint planning, and sprint execution • Oversee quality in the delivery of digital services and keep team focus on quality • Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, required test assets, data environments, tools, and automated test suites • Create scripts, tools, and procedures for operations • Design and implement automation for limited-downtime deployment and maintenance • Lead production operations for digital services • Manage production configuration, credentials, maintenance, database upgrades and migrations, backups, and recoveries • Provide operations support for implementation and enhancement of digital services • Create application deployment templates and CI/CD pipelines • Automate establishment of development and testing environments • Create monitoring and telemetry tools to improve application observability • Support delivery teams with integration testing, security scans, system testing, performance and load testing • Support early and frequent delivery to end-users through limited-availability Alpha and Beta launches • Remove manual processes through automated and AI solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Experience/ability to work across 2–3 projects • Ability to create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios • Ability to identify required test types, assets, data environments, and tools • Ability to create automated test suites • Ability to design and implement automation for limited-downtime deployment and maintenance • Ability to manage production configuration and credentials • Ability to plan and manage maintenance activities • Ability to manage database upgrades, migrations, backups, and recoveries • Ability to create application deployment templates and CI/CD pipeline patterns • Ability to create scripts and tools for development and testing environments • Experience with monitoring and telemetry tools for application observability • Knowledge of integration testing, security scans, system testing, performance testing, and load testing • Ability to support limited-availability Alpha and Beta launches • Ability to implement automated/AI solutions to remove manual processes
