📋 Description

• Lead the technical operations team across internal departments to ensure a successful ongoing client experience • Provide leadership and employee support through performance management and guidance • Ensure client needs are met on time and with high quality throughout the functional life cycle, including analysis and programming • Analyze business processes across the organization and identify improvements within Technical Operations for Customer Service and Implementation • Manage business programs and processes, including prioritization, requirements, timelines, planning, communication, scope and change management, training, and implementation • Address complex technical issues involving system performance and scalability • Design reusable technical solutions and document best practices • Manage high-volume technical projects and proactively resolve issues affecting team performance • Assist with future system requirements and long-term strategic planning • Streamline processes and workflows for Implementation and Support requests • Make decisions about team operations, process improvements, technical solutions, team structure, and organizational processes • Manage implementations and issue resolution to improve customer satisfaction and set customer expectations • Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and scalable tools • Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to prioritize projects and develop timelines • Work with the Director and development teams on new product features and enhancements • Maintain relationships with internal business partners and act as liaison between technical teams and other departments • Manage daily technical team activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and professional development • Coach, mentor, and provide regular feedback to team members • Conduct one-on-one meetings, plan team events, and support employee morale • Develop learning, development, and career pathing plans • Direct resources to design, program, implement, and test technical solutions • Manage workstreams and queues to ensure timely issue resolution and adherence to SLAs and client KPIs • Design, program, implement, test, and support integrations with new and existing vendors • Convert integrations from old platforms to new platforms • Manage data integration projects and interface with external partners

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • Experience managing a team handling a high volume of projects • 3 years of personnel management experience • 5+ years of technical or programming-related experience • Ability to demonstrate process and metrics focus • Significant experience in customer-facing situations • Experience working cross-functionally and fostering strong relationships • Experience developing, implementing, and managing control/auditing processes • Experience developing and driving adoption of cross-departmental processes preferred • Experience managing and motivating employees virtually preferred • Experience with payroll and/or HR concepts preferred • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred • Strong and effective communication preferred • Experience working with payroll and/or HR data is a plus • Experience defining software requirements preferred • Experience with company-to-company file transfers preferred • Knowledge of EDI/XML file security preferred • SQL experience is a strong plus • Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours per day • Ability to operate computers and phone systems, type, and use multiple software programs simultaneously
