• Collaborate with Design and Narrative teams to develop interactive game systems related to narrative delivery • Implement narrative content in Unreal Engine 5 • Participate in cross-disciplinary pods to deliver dynamic narrative experiences • Develop and communicate creative and user experience guidelines • Contribute to narrative processes and pipelines with the production team • Communicate progress, workflows, and game-feature availability to content developers and writers • Collaborate daily across global development sites
• 5+ years of experience in game development, or similar field • At least one AAA title, credited as a Narrative Designer, Quest Designer or Level Designer • Game engine proficiency required; Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5 preferred • Visual scripting experience preferred • Ability to maximize value out of existing narrative systems • Excellent understanding of interactive storytelling practices • Knowledge of the current gaming industry development landscape, technologies, and tools • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and autonomously • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and iterate on solutions • Ability to adapt to creative or production constraints • Candidates must be from the game industry and based in Canada
