📋 Description

• Lead and grow the Patient Registration engineering team • Hire, mentor, and support software engineers and QA professionals • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment • Lead project planning and execution for high-quality, scalable software delivery • Facilitate responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools • Establish practices for validating and safely incorporating AI-generated code and technical recommendations • Implement required functionality and write technical documentation • Participate in design reviews • Maintain software quality and security standards • Manage bug fixes, product maintenance, production support, and customer escalations • Review code through pull requests • Support CI/CD practices and automated testing • Continuously improve engineering processes and quality • Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, QA, and other cross-functional teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline required • 8+ years of experience building and supporting highly distributed software applications • 3+ years of people management experience leading software engineering teams • 3+ years of project management experience delivering successful software releases • Deep experience with Microsoft .NET (C#) or Java • Experience designing, building, or integrating AI agents and LLM-powered workflows into production systems • Experience adopting or leading AI-assisted development tools, including coding assistants, AI-powered testing, documentation generation, or code generation tools • Experience establishing practices for reviewing, validating, and safely incorporating AI-generated code • Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, web services, and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with QA automation tooling and AI-assisted testing and unit test generation • Experience managing contractors and external vendors • Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills • Self-motivated, pragmatic problem-solving ability in a distributed team environment
