📋 Description

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate data and reporting requirements • Translate business needs into actionable specifications for the Data Engineering team • Support backlog refinement, user story writing, and acceptance criteria definition • Work with Data Engineers and the Product Owner to validate data solutions • Use Oracle SQL to interrogate datasets and confirm accuracy • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders • Identify and document data quality issues • Collaborate with engineers on resolution approaches and preventive controls

🎯 Requirements

• Current Government of Canada clearance at Reliability or higher required at time of application • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst • Preference for experience with large enterprise-level transformations • Intermediate proficiency in Business Requirements Analysis • Beginner proficiency in Oracle SQL and Product Development • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and data requirements • Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications • Working knowledge of Oracle SQL and ability to read and interpret data • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Comfort using data to support business analysis and solution validation
