• Lead the development and execution of communications strategies and campaigns supporting PMI’s regional business priorities across North America. • Partner with the Managing Director and regional business leaders to translate business priorities into communications programs. • Develop campaign briefs and ensure regional initiatives align with PMI’s broader organizational strategy and business goals. • Identify opportunities to increase awareness and strengthen PMI’s reputation across the region. • Own campaign measurement, reporting, and insights, using results to improve communications effectiveness. • Manage relationships with assigned external vendors and agencies, provide direction, and review deliverables. • Participate in regional marketing strategy sessions and create awareness programs for PMI’s positions, products, and services. • Collaborate with functional partners to execute programs and campaigns that increase engagement. • Monitor local news cycles, macrotrends, regional industries, consumer trends, and customer insights. • Refine messaging for new product and service offerings and thought leadership. • Provide input into PMI communications strategy, regional target audiences, and initiative baselines. • Track and report campaign progress against communications, financial, and customer acquisition goals. • Craft data-driven, personalized regional communications plans. • Maintain agency relationships and regularly update the Director on performance. • Provide a monthly LinkedIn editorial calendar to the Regional Managing Director. • Support the Regional Managing Director with talking points for media interviews, speaking opportunities, and presentations.
• BA in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, or related field. • 6-8 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising or related degree. • Expert in Communications for region in terms of how the media work and their needs. • In-depth understanding of and demonstrated success with how to represent organization messages and initiatives across a variety of communication channels. • Success in managing region-specific needs for messaging and how to best present global positions in a way that is engaging for a regional audience. • Stay up-to-date on latest customer behavior and industry trends. • Experience working with and managing agencies independently. • Experience with media monitoring and PR measurement tools and reporting. • Analytical thinker with in-depth experience in qualitative and quantitative analytics. • Ability to oversee and execute multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders with a proactive and adaptive mindset. • Ability to work collaboratively and combine ideas to best benefit the customer. • Strong ability to think creatively. • Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment. • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Proficiency in English. • Fluency in a minimum of one additional language relevant to target region is required. • Ability to travel nationally and globally.
