📋 Description

• Develop and market business within the assigned West Region • Develop successful strategies and coordinate tactical efforts for new products and long-term business goals and objectives • Achieve annual new business sales objectives by leveraging existing relationships and developing relationships with benefit consultants and insurance brokers • Increase visibility in the assigned territory and create awareness of Point C’s services • Acquire new business through brokers through information exchange, sales and broker service, and generation of broker activity • Communicate product, underwriting, and other important updates to brokers through personal visits and newsletters • Provide consultative services to clients to understand their needs and maximize return from services • Identify new service offerings and collaborate with organizational partners to expand services and profitability • Travel 50% or more

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of previous experience selling in the health insurance broker/employer community or related sales experience • Solid understanding of third-party benefits administration • Undergraduate Degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SalesForce • Seasoned sales professional who understands the importance of a consultative approach to developing and maintaining client relationships • Negotiation and influencing skills • Analytical and problem-solving skills • High level of motivation and ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively • Team oriented • High level of integrity and strong work ethic • Must live near a major airport • Must have reliable internet and familiarity with digital platforms
