📋 Description

• Lead HEOR/RWE projects and ensure they meet the highest standards, deadlines and budgets • Research potential opportunities to improve healthcare through research • Partner strategically with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients • Identify unmet needs, challenges and new avenues of inquiry relevant to client portfolios • Propose insights and recommendations based on data analysis and research findings to support business growth • Present results to global clients and communities • Manage multiple healthcare stakeholders on a project-by-project basis • Develop and manage multinational observational studies • Report to a Senior Health Economist and work as part of the wider health economics team • Support and mentor junior colleagues and provide guidance to other health economists; no line management responsibility

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a HEOR-focused or similar role • Postgraduate qualification, such as an MSc, MPH, PhD or equivalent, in Health Economics, Public Health, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Statistics, Economics or another relevant quantitative discipline • Strong understanding of health economic evaluation methods, real-world evidence generation, observational research and market access requirements across major healthcare systems • Experience with burden of illness studies • Experience with non-interventional / observational studies • Experience with cost-effectiveness, cost utility and budget impact analysis • Experience with RWE, HEOR & Market Access strategies • Experience with patient preference studies • Experience with elicitation exercises • Experience with literature reviews • Experience with research dissemination via posters & manuscripts • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills • Ability to interpret and synthesize complex clinical and economic evidence • Experience managing projects from a timing and financial management perspective • Client-facing confidence and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT, Access, Outlook and Teams • Experience working with Stata, R or another similar statistical package • Confidence using AI-powered tools to support research, analysis, content development and workflow efficiency • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate across teams • High level of initiative, self-direction and accountability • Solutions-focused, sound judgement and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environment
