📋 Description

• Promptfoo is the leading AI security testing platform, helping 80,000+ developers build secure, reliable AI applications. • We’re adding our first dedicated Deployment Engineer to keep pace with inbound demand. • You’ll be the bridge between prospects, customers, and our product team - jumping on technical calls daily, unblocking POCs, and turning field insights into product improvements. • Take 5+ customer calls per week, solving technical challenges and helping them implement Promptfoo • Provide post-deployment support to ensure customers are seeing value • Create technical demos and videos showcasing Promptfoo capabilities • Be the voice of the customer internally • Triage and respond to customer support inquiries • Troubleshoot customer implementations involving JavaScript/Python, Docker, and various enterprise environments • Write and maintain technical documentation that helps customers self-serve • Identify opportunities to expand Promptfoo usage within existing accounts • Contribute to technical content that showcases best practices • Participate in customer webinars and technical workshops • High Autonomy: You'll own the entire customer technical journey with significant freedom in how you approach problems • Variety: No two days are the same • Impact: You’re helping the world’s largest companies secure their AI. You’ll also have direct influence on product direction based on customer feedback • Learning: Work at the cutting edge of AI security with exposure to how leading companies

🎯 Requirements

• Technical Proficiency: Strong coding skills in JavaScript or Python, comfortable with Docker, databases, and enterprise infra • Problem Solving: It’s not always easy - ability to debug complex technical issues and think creatively about real-world solutions • Customer Empathy: Genuine desire to help customers succeed and ability to translate technical concepts • Self-Guided: Does great with minimal supervision and can prioritize across many small tasks throughout the day • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Used Promptfoo • Experience with LLM applications, AI security, or developer tools • Background in security, particularly application security or red teaming • Previous experience in technical customer success or solutions engineering roles
