📋 Description

• Understand client data usage and translate business needs into clear reporting requirements • Own report content, accuracy, delivery, service expectations, scope, timing, and tradeoffs • Manage and develop Proof's data team through goal-setting, coaching, feedback, and career development • Plan capacity with business and technical leaders and balance client commitments with reporting improvements • Review queries and data models, resolve difficult problems, and contribute SQL or code changes when useful • Own approaches to data pipelines, shared models, internal BI, and SQL tooling • Establish standards for data quality, monitoring, and access • Partner with Engineering on moving data from the warehouse into required systems • Help teams use trusted data to understand performance, identify opportunities, and make decisions • Work with Product and Engineering on data for internal tools and AI systems • Partner with Business Operations on automation and tooling decisions • Drive measurable improvements in report accuracy, delivery reliability, and turnaround • Turn client and operational data patterns into actionable insights that shape business priorities

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data, analytics, or reporting • 3+ years managing a data or analytics team • Experience developing people, building scalable processes, and improving delivery • Experience leading client discovery and explaining technical tradeoffs in plain language • Experience delivering data into client systems through recurring extracts or agreed file formats • Experience investigating and resolving reconciliation issues • Strong SQL proficiency and data-modeling knowledge • Familiarity with Python or similar scripting is useful • Willingness to keep developing technical skills • Experience with production data systems and automation, including data warehouses, pipelines, and BI tools • Experience with practical build-versus-buy decisions • Experience with complex enterprise workflows is helpful • Ability to quickly learn the business
