📋 Description

• Spend two to four weeks doing the operator’s job at the start of an engagement • Reach working fluency in unfamiliar domains such as insurance underwriting, healthcare revenue cycle, and asset flow • Redesign business functions from first principles with operators and Forward Deployed Executives • Ship production GenAI systems, LLM applications, agentic workflows, retrieval and structured-extraction pipelines, and supporting services • Build evaluation harnesses, define success metrics, instrument systems, and use evaluations to drive design • Write production code across backend services, data pipelines, and AI layers • Deploy containerized, observable, and maintainable systems on AWS or other cloud platforms as required • Feed field learnings back into Provectus blueprints • Work with Forward Deployed Executives against Business Unit KPIs • Drive adoption and incorporate change management into engineering work • Collaborate with customer engineers, operators, and executives • Shape commitments and scope before delivery begins

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building software, with a substantial share writing accountable production code • Willingness to spend two to four weeks doing the operator’s job before coding • Ability to learn unfamiliar business domains quickly • Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production • Experience building or owning an evaluation suite for a non-deterministic system • Strong engineering fundamentals and productivity in unfamiliar codebases or languages • Python and/or TypeScript proficiency • Cloud-native AWS delivery experience, including containers, Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, CI/CD, and operations • Ability to engage credibly with senior business and technical stakeholders • Comfort with ambiguity and ownership • Solid AI/ML foundations and understanding of model failure modes • Strong hands-on production experience with Claude Code/Cowork • Fluent English, written and spoken
