ProVeg International is an international non-profit organisation that accelerates the transition to a sustainable global food system by promoting plant-rich diets and alternative proteins. It conducts advocacy and policy work, corporate engagement, public education (recipes, Veggie Challenge), and runs innovation programs and an incubator to support plant-based food startups. ProVeg publishes data and market reports, runs campaigns and partnerships (e. g. , Food Innovation Challenge, V‑Label), and operates in multiple countries to reduce reliance on animal agriculture for environmental, health, and animal welfare reasons.

📋 Description

• Own and continuously improve the day-to-day administration of our international employee lifecycle. • Manage contracts, employee records, and employment documentation. • Coordinate payroll preparation and related administrative processes. • Support onboarding and offboarding activities. • Lead the development of a scalable and efficient People Operations infrastructure through effective use of technology, automation, and process design. • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Deel across international entities. • Support the organisation's international growth by helping maintain compliant employment frameworks and robust operational foundations.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or International HR roles. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, International Relations, Business Law, or a degree in the humanities, social sciences, or psychology. • Hands-on experience working with HRIS, payroll, or global employment platforms, ideally including Deel and/or Personio. • Experience working with international employment practices and labour law, particularly in Germany, the UK, or the Netherlands. • Comfortable managing projects and coordinating multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment. • Excellent attention to detail and maintain a high standard of accuracy when handling employee data, contracts, and sensitive information. • Professional fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.
