📋 Description

• Technical focus will be on structural engineering and/or site (civil) design for substations and power delivery facilities • Structural engineering responsibilities include development of design criteria, structure design, foundation design, and building design • Structure design primarily consists of standard shape steel structure, specification of tubular steel structures, fire walls, and related facilities • Foundation design primarily consists of drilled pier, shallow/pad, and spread footing foundations • Site (Civil) engineering responsibilities include development of design criteria; grading & drainage design; access road design (paved and unpaved sections, vehicle maneuvering modeling, haul road analysis, etc.) • Specification & design of retaining walls, perimeter walls, fences and gates; water storm drawing design; ability to specify and interpret hydrology studies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering • 5+ years’ civil engineering experience required • Experience with ACAD Civil 3D experience preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organization and planning skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Commitment to quality and accuracy • Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules • P.Eng. license is required
