• Drive sales of management contracts, behavioral health integration initiatives and consulting for PMC • Drive sales and marketing initiatives of PMC’s lines of service and implement sales strategies in assigned region • Ensure sales goals and revenue achievement is obtained • Responsible for new business development for all lines of service and develop/manage strategic partner relationships • Support transition of new contracts with Operations and provide ongoing support • Perform operational assessments, feasibility studies, and consulting work on behalf of PMC • Plan, obtain, and manage new and existing sales opportunities within a geographic territory • Prospect for potential new clients, cold call, and grow/maintain network • Identify decision makers, set up meetings with hospital CEOs, and maintain diligent follow-up • Work with Development team to develop client-focused proposals and handle objections • Attend requisite meetings, training, company events, trade shows and conferences • Meet and exceed established sales targets (calls per day, meetings per month, closes and revenue) • Expectation to close three successful contracts in the first year
• Must reside in the State of New York • Located in the Northeast and live close to a major airport • Bachelor’s degree in a health or business field required • Master’s Degree preferred • Ten years of sales experience in healthcare preferred • Five years of validated experience and results in contract management and solutions development • Experience selling service contracts directly to hospital CEO’s • Experience developing psychiatric management contracts strongly preferred • Knowledge of Inpatient and Outpatient mental health • Must have knowledge of CON processes, environment of care issues, and the hospital industry • Working knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and licensure requirements preferred • Project management experience a plus • Strong social, interpersonal and writing skills • Closing skills, prospecting skills, sales planning, territory management, market knowledge, presentation skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Knowledge of SharePoint/OneDrive and other email/collaboration technologies desired
