📋 Description

• Plan and execute logistics for Partner Fly-Ins (NCSW, NSCW), Congress on Campus visits, and earmark technical assistance sessions • Plan and execute logistics for three annual State Leader Council convenings and APCSA convenings, including venue and vendor coordination, invitations, and materials • Schedule and staff the CMO monthly call, SLC monthly calls, and quarterly school and network leader calls • Prepare agendas and briefing materials, and track action items to closure • Serve as the Senior Director of Programs' primary logistics and operations partner for the National Charter Schools Conference • Lead conference marketing and promotion with the Communications team to drive registration and session attendance • Handle conference logistics and on-site operational duties, including vendor coordination, troubleshooting, and day-of execution • Coordinate with the Programs team on SLC convening and receptions at NCSC • Promote fly-ins, convenings, webinars, and calls to drive registration and attendance • Develop marketing materials and communications supporting recurring programming • Report to the Chief of External Engagement and collaborate with senior directors and partner teams

🎯 Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in event planning, meeting logistics, or program operations, ideally in a nonprofit, association, or political environment • Experience marketing or promoting events to a professional audience, ideally including a large-scale conference • Experience managing vendor and venue relationships and multi-city or multi-event logistics calendars • Experience collaborating with a Communications or Marketing team on a shared deliverable • Exceptional organization and ability to run several concurrent events and calls without dropping details • Marketer's eye for driving registration and engagement • Calm under pressure when travel, venues, or schedules change at the last minute • Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and partner teams • Regular travel for fly-ins, convenings, and NCSC required
