📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade applications leveraging LLMs and context optimization • Architect and implement sophisticated multi-step and multi-agent workflows using LangChain and LangGraph • Build and optimize RAG pipelines with embeddings, vector databases, and advanced rerankers • Use code-generation applications to create full frontend and backend applications, generate tests, perform testing, and integrate them into the core product without manually writing code • Lead LLM fine-tuning efforts using techniques such as LoRA and QLoRA • Develop and refine advanced prompt-engineering techniques for model performance, consistency, and safety • Own end-to-end implementation from frontend to backend • Expose Python AI/LLM functionality through Java services and use Java multithreading to augment Python functionality • Use AI-powered development tools to generate, refactor, and optimize code • Collaborate with team leads, managers, QA, product managers, and the US team • Translate vague requirements into actionable systems and own product quality

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar Engineering field • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a minimum of 2 years focused on AI/ML development, particularly with LLMs • Strong proficiency in Python and relevant data science libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn • Experience integrating major public and private/local LLM APIs, including Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, and Ollama • At least 1 year of practical experience with LangChain and LangGraph • Experience with autonomous agents, tools, memory management, and parallelization • Experience using Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI, and Microsoft Copilot, including safely integrating AI-generated code into production • Understanding and implementation experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, vector search, embeddings, and reranking • Experience with AI Copilot or similar generative AI coding tools for code generation, refactoring, optimization, and vibe coding • Experience creating UI with React and integrating it with backends using REST APIs is a plus • Hands-on Java experience and integrating Java modules with Python modules is nice to have, but not necessary • Ideally have industry and market knowledge of ESG and sustainability • Willingness to partially work US working hours • Must be eligible to work in Canada; employer-sponsored visas are unavailable in Canada
