đź“‹ Description

• Complete the employee payroll processing cycle according to the payroll schedule and in compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and laws • Ensure data integrity in the payroll system by updating information related to new hires, terminations, personnel changes, leaves, and employee benefits • Validate timesheets and follow up with managers regarding approvals and corrections • Administer source deductions, employee benefits, vacation, garnishments, and retirement funds • Ensure compliance with company policies relating to leaves, bonuses, overtime, and time banks • Close the year-end process and generate the required reports, including T4s, RL-1 slips, summaries, and CNESST reports • Report to the Payroll Manager and collaborate with the Accounting and Finance teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of payroll experience • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written • Resourcefulness, attention to detail, and thoroughness • College diploma in Accounting (asset) • National Payroll Institute certification (asset) • Experience interpreting collective agreements and working in a corporate environment (asset) • Attendance in Quebec City required once a month • French-English bilingualism required for interactions with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec
