📋 Description

• Verify and validate software running on RTOS-based, multicore SoC architectures • Ensure compliance with DO-178C and alignment with system-level requirements • Perform integration, system testing, and software verification at HLR/LLR levels • Support advanced aerospace and defense programs • Work in complex hardware/software environments • Address multicore certification concerns including timing, determinism, and partitioning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related engineering discipline • 2+ years of relevant Software Engineering experience in avionics or electronic controls embedded development in a safety or mission-critical environment • Experience developing or developing on top of an RTOS and familiarity with RTOS concepts • Experience developing software to DO-178C standards • Experience with C and Python • Experience with integration and testing at system levels and software test levels (HLR/LLR) • All applicants must be U.S. Citizens • Preferred: Experience with Asymmetric Multiprocessing • Preferred: Experience debugging complex multi-core SoCs • Preferred: Master’s degree in software engineering or related engineering discipline • Preferred: Experience with ARM processors, SoC features, ARM Dev Studio IDE, and ARM DStream Probe • Preferred: Experience developing device drivers/board support packages • Preferred: Familiarity with ARINC 615A, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, PCIe, LIN, and CAN • Preferred: Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and confidentiality concepts • Preferred: Familiarity with actuators and sensors • Preferred: Experience with BVA, SCA, and DCCA • Preferred: Experience with DO-330 Tool Qualification • Preferred: General understanding of engineering principles • Preferred: Team leadership experience • Preferred: Experience integrating emerging technologies such as generative AI, automation platforms, or digital assistants
