📋 Description

• Partner with PMs to turn product ideas into technically defensible analytics products by defining metrics, shaping dashboard narratives, setting validation methodologies, and surfacing design gaps • Lead an analytics pod as technical owner, including scoping initiatives, running sprints, ticketing, project management, and unblocking delivery • Build and steward metric definitions and semantic context through hands-on data exploration and documentation • Own analytical quality, ensuring rigor and correctness and preventing flawed definitions or misleading framings from reaching customers • Support exploratory analysis and proofs of concept that pressure-test ROI stories during product discovery • Assist in setting analytics standards for the organization • Report to the Analytics Program Lead

🎯 Requirements

• Sharp, experienced analytical thinking, with a track record of building out high-quality, narratively complete analytical components, not just running ad hoc analyses • Versatile critical thinking, with demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly and translate general skills into tactical enablement, even without deep domain expertise • Hands-on expertise with SQL and modern data warehouses (DBX preferred) • Strong data visualization design and BI development skills (Sigma or similar) • Demonstrated ability to partner with PMs as a trusted peer, turning rough ideas into defensible products and pushing on the thinking without friction • Experience leading delivery for a small team: comfortable owning sprints, sequencing, and coordination, and getting good work out of a pod without becoming the bottleneck • Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background investigation and drug test
