📋 Description

• Manage routine bankruptcy matters • Draft and review pleadings and claims filed in particular matters • Attend scheduled hearings • Respond to firm-wide bankruptcy inquiries • Review filings on behalf of clients • Monitor electronic filings (ECFs) • Resolve routine bankruptcy matters, including Motions for Relief, Objections to Confirmation, and Proofs of Claim • Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court • Represent secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases

🎯 Requirements

• Experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases • Working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure • License to practice law in Tennessee required • Admitted to District and/or Bankruptcy Courts in Tennessee • Knowledge of bankruptcy rules/laws and general Creditor Rights laws • Computer literacy • Keyboard skills • Attention to detail • Time management • Communication skills • Professionalism • Law degree (J.D.) • Team-oriented approach • Ability to draft and review pleadings and claims • Ability to attend scheduled hearings • Ability to monitor electronic filings (ECFs) • Ability to resolve routine bankruptcy matters
