📋 Description

• Build microservices and APIs powering the advertiser-facing product, ads.reddit.com • Develop distributed systems that show the right ad to the right user at the right time • Build backends for interactive ad experiences such as Polls and Games • Develop real-time, data-intensive systems measuring ad campaign performance • Build and support infrastructure for Ads systems • Work with product managers to design and implement Ads products • Collaborate with platform and data teams while building new features • Improve operational stability through code quality improvements, dashboards and data visualizations • Build extensible components aligned with product objectives • Support project management by communicating updates, managing timelines and overseeing execution

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages (Java, Scala, Go, C++, Python) • Able to take complete ownership of a feature or project • Coachability and an eagerness to grow • Deep passion for coding • Excellent independent learning skills • Ability to code independently • Experience working in the Ads domain is a bonus • Experience or interest in the advertising business and understanding customer needs is a bonus
