📋 Description

• Build and maintain developer tools that make Resend easy to integrate across languages, frameworks, and environments • Build and operate services supporting developer tools and integrations • Collaborate with product squads on API contracts and consistent behavior across SDKs, CLI, MCP, and documentation • Build interfaces developers and agents use to work with Resend, including MCP, skills, and CLI • Manage compatibility, testing, releases, and upgrades • Build shared tooling that helps other squads ship changes confidently • Work directly with developers through support, GitHub issues, and pull requests

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience, including building and maintaining APIs or services in production • Experience with TypeScript and Node.js • Understanding of authentication, authorization, retries, idempotency, rate limits, and partial failures • Experience building software that other developers depend on • Care for interface design, clear errors, useful documentation, and backward compatibility • Ability to think about agents as product users, with needs for discovery and security • Ability to take an ambiguous problem, propose a focused solution, and follow through after release • Clear communication, receptiveness to feedback, and ownership while working closely with others • Open source project maintenance or close collaboration with external contributors • Experience building SDKs, command-line tools, MCP servers, or platform integrations • Experience with React or frontend build tooling • Experience building and operating systems with queues, monitoring, and error recovery • Experience across multiple programming languages • Experience with email development or strong interest in learning the space
