📋 Description

• Design, build, ship, and support end-to-end features and products that help developers make more money • Primarily focus on either the iOS or Android SDK, with occasional contributions to other platform and hybrid SDKs • Learn RevenueCat’s customers, SDK, in-app subscription ecosystem, and product solutions • Open pull requests and deploy changes used by 32,000+ apps • Work on projects and ship initial features during onboarding • Review code and contribute to engineering culture • Scope and work on projects self-sufficiently • Participate in code reviews, testing, and visibility efforts to improve codebase reliability and quality • Understand and improve the codebases used by the team • Become an expert in key features and lead initiatives to improve code and infrastructure • Contribute to the team roadmap and technical direction • Ship major products or features • Contribute ideas to RevenueCat’s solutions for mobile subscriptions • Specify, architect, and build new features • Become the primary expert or owner of at least one SDK technology area • Mentor and onboard new engineers • Help prioritize the roadmap to maximize value for developers and advance the team and technology

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software • Have shipped mobile apps to Apple App Store or Google Play Store • Very experienced in Swift and SwiftUI (iOS) or Java/Kotlin and Compose UI (Android) • Willingness to work across iOS, Android, cross-platform, and hybrid platforms • Ability to build mobile SDKs with a strong developer experience • Ability to ship high-quality code using good testing practices in iterative cycles • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a fully remote culture • Proactive approach to fixing issues and suggesting improvements • Bonus: experience building SDKs • Bonus: experience with server-driven user interfaces • Bonus: shipped an app to Google Play or the App Store • Bonus: experience in Python or other backend development
