📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality animations that capture both natural and stylized/exaggerated motion as required by the project. • Create convincing performances for creatures, characters, and props based on the creative vision and project requirements. • Ensure animations are technically sound, adhere to guidelines, and integrate efficiently across various pipelines. • Collaborate effectively with other departments, providing clear feedback and discussing creative and technical solutions to achieve optimal results. • Share knowledge, participate in department-wide learning sessions, and mentor junior animators.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a visual effects or animation studio. • Proven proficiency in Maya; experience with other animation tools is an asset. • Strong understanding of body mechanics and facial animation. • Ability to animate from reference and to create convincing acting performances. • High attention to detail, self-direction, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively. • Positive, collaborative mindset and strong communication skills. • Asset: Experience with ShotGrid or other production-tracking tools. • Asset: Knowledge of rigging fundamentals or experience developing custom tools.
