📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers implementing CRM business logic • Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance in a large-scale multi-tenant environment • Troubleshoot production database-layer issues, trace execution paths, identify root causes, and deploy fixes • Support scheduled jobs, exports, imports, data pipelines, and external-system integrations • Collaborate with Java application developers to define clean application/database boundaries • Participate in code reviews and maintain database-logic and process documentation • Identify and refactor legacy PL/SQL code for performance, maintainability, and portability • Contribute to decisions about database versus application-layer business logic • Support integration with modern data platforms and downstream analytics • Establish PL/SQL development best practices covering version control, code review, testing, and repeatable deployments • Contribute to Revolution CRM, a CRM platform serving nonprofit organizations

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on PL/SQL development, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, collections, and bulk operations • Expert-level SQL, including complex queries, execution plan analysis, and performance tuning across large datasets • Knowledge of Oracle database internals, including query execution, memory management, concurrency, and transaction processing • Experience diagnosing and fixing slow queries, optimizing batch processes, and improving production-system throughput • Multi-tenant or multi-schema experience • Production troubleshooting using database logs, execution plans, and application behavior • Linux proficiency, including filesystem navigation, log reading, and command-line tools • Data security awareness relating to PII, data isolation, access control, and compliance • Ability to collaborate with Java developers, QA engineers, and product managers • Agile experience with sprint-based development, standups, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery • Experience with Oracle DB@AWS or Oracle on OCI/cloud infrastructure preferred • Experience with DBMS_SCHEDULER, Oracle Jobs, and batch-processing orchestration preferred • Experience with data migration or legacy-platform modernization preferred • Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Liquibase, or similar version-control tools preferred • Experience with a PL/SQL SDLC preferred • Experience in a multi-tenant SaaS environment preferred • Nonprofit or fundraising domain experience preferred • Experience with Java/Oracle integration patterns such as JDBC and connection pooling • Familiarity with modern data platforms • Experience mentoring junior developers • Proficiency with Oracle tooling such as SQL Developer or TOAD • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for database deployment workflows • Ability to work in the Eastern Time Zone • Must live/work in one of the listed eligible locations
