📋 Description

• Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager • Supervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers, planning, coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, and maintaining all company/project policies, procedures, standards, etc. • Provide project management expertise to establish initial client contact • Responsible for preparing a complete estimate for the selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications, and bid form • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the guidelines of corporate policies • Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project • Negotiate all change orders on the project • Monitor construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget • Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision • Supervise the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client and assist in negotiating all change quotations to a conclusion • Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager • Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the client • Review any documentation prepared by Assistant Project Manager before submission • Represent the company in project meetings under the guidance of PM II or Sr. Project Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred • Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role • Can be a combination of training, education, and relevant work experience
