📋 Description

• Leading large Medicaid or HHS modernization initiatives from planning through implementation • Managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies • Developing and maintaining integrated project plans • Facilitating executive steering committees and governance meetings • Coordinating activities across business, technical, vendor, and client organizations • Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously • Driving project accountability across cross-functional teams • Monitoring project health using KPIs, milestones, and performance metrics • Preparing executive-level presentations, dashboards, and status reports • Managing RAID logs and ensuring timely issue resolution • Supporting procurement, contract management, and vendor coordination activities • Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and CMS requirements where applicable • Supporting organizational change management and implementation readiness • Identifying opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve project execution and delivery efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience • 8+ years of Project Management experience leading complex technology initiatives • 5+ years supporting Medicaid, Health & Human Services, or other government technology programs • Demonstrated experience managing projects exceeding $5M in value and involving multiple stakeholder groups • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models • Experience leading geographically distributed project teams • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills • Experience facilitating workshops, governance meetings, and executive briefings • Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities • Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day project execution
