📋 Description

• Coordinate Gender Equity Working Group operations, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, issuing reminders, and documenting and distributing minutes • Provide administrative support to the Gender Equity Advocate, including calendar management, travel coordination, and day-to-day operational assistance • Collect, analyze, and report on data and stakeholder feedback • Research, review, and develop policies, presentations, and curriculum materials • Create and deliver communications content, including articles, social media posts, and promotional materials • Manage and maintain the Gender Equity web presence • Lead social media engagement activities • Facilitate collaboration among the Gender Equity Advocate, Working Group members, and internal departments • Support project planning, coordination, and implementation • Assist with creative productions, events, and awareness campaigns promoting Gender Equity outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Administration, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field is considered an asset • Minimum five (5) years of experience in office administration, executive support, secretarial, or related administrative roles • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Calendar, and Excel • Strong keyboarding and document management skills • Exceptional organizational, planning, and prioritization skills • Strong attention to detail and commitment to process excellence and continuous improvement • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising initiative, sound judgment, and accountability • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, professionalism, and discretion • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice • Knowledge of or experience in gender equity initiatives is considered a strong asset • Support and uphold the Mission and values of The Salvation Army
