📋 Description

• Own the systems you build and take full technical ownership of features used by thousands of fleets worldwide • Architect, build, test, and deliver full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and mobile • Work with product managers, designers, firmware, and infrastructure engineers to design and deliver end-to-end products • Maintain the production systems your team owns and provide operational support • Solve problems that enable the product for global customers and prevent crashes and emissions • Partner with other teams to gather requirements, prioritize work, and evangelize the platform • Help build the culture of the team and embed Samsara’s cultural principles • Develop skills across multiple technologies and own production systems in your domain

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience building customer-facing applications • Strong programming/coding fundamentals in a language such as Java, Python, Golang, or TypeScript • Experience designing and architecting large, high-scale systems • An ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver upon project milestones with your team • Experience with a public cloud such as AWS (preferred) • Familiarity with multiple tiers, like React Frontends and Microservices (preferred) • Contributed heavily to driving significant value to customers (preferred) • Curious about customers and eager to improve their day-to-day experience (preferred) • A Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline (preferred) • Must reside in the United States (job is open to candidates residing in the United States)
