• Start by being a sponge. We provide a robust onboard and training program to help you learn about customers, systems, processes, and our products. • Upon completion of onboard and initial training, continue working from “proficiency” to “mastery” of TM skills. • Assume ownership of territory and assigned direct accounts • Attend industry events, buying markets aligned with strategic plan • Get to know the team. Integrate with the sales & marketing team with whom you will interface the most in addition to getting to know other teams within Sashco.
• Possess 2-3 years of outside sales / territory management experience • Possess a BS / BA in Business or related field - We will consider additional years of industry experience in lieu of Bachelors degree. • Possess a clean driving record • Have CRM experience • Possess technology proficiency: Smart phone and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) at a minimum • Can communicate effectively demonstrating tact, empathy, and respect. • Possess strong attention to detail for CRM maintenance, orders, and reports • Bonus points for you if you have: • Channel experience and existing relationships (hardware, lumber, building materials) • Salesforce experience • Advanced Excel acumen • Passion for home improvement projects. In the lumberyard, hardware or improvement store almost every weekend! • Experience with lean and / or process improvement methods • Formal Sales Training (especially Challenger)
