📋 Description

• Develop and implement business development strategies in the aerospace sector • Identify new market opportunities and acquire customers, contracts and projects • Build and maintain customer relationships and strategic partnerships at national and international levels • Take responsibility for revenue, costs and results (P&L) of the aviation division • Organize, coordinate and supervise projects in production, engineering and industrial facilities • Ensure efficient processes and continuously optimize workflows • Work closely with other business units and executive management to achieve overarching goals • Lead and manage a team of fewer than 10 employees with a focus on growth • Provide disciplinary and technical leadership and promote individual development • Organize team meetings, feedback sessions and training measures

🎯 Requirements

• University degree (e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration) with several years of professional experience, preferably in the aerospace industry • At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development or strategic business development — ideally with proven success in acquisition and building new business areas • Several years of leadership experience (minimum 5 years) in a technical or industrial environment with responsibility for teams and projects • Solid business administration knowledge, particularly in cost accounting, budget planning and profitability management • International management experience and confidence in dealing with international customers, partners and project teams • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in cross-organizational teams: strong communication, negotiation skills, empathy and assertiveness • Structured and resilient working style — also under high responsibility • Very good skills in Windows and MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Business-fluent German and English, both spoken and written; French language skills are an advantage • Willingness to travel
