📋 Description

• Design, build, ship, and operate model-driven applications • Build optimization applications around advanced optimization models in production at scale • Design APIs, data ingestion, multiprocessing, observability, algorithms, performance benchmarks, and automated tests • Build automated evaluation systems and test model behavior • Convert requirements into testable specifications with scope, constraints, and acceptance criteria • Decompose work into agent-sized tasks and review AI coding agent output for correctness and maintainability • Contribute to teams’ AI harness and shape how agents are leveraged • Own production quality, safety, reliability, deployments, service monitoring, alerting, and customer issue response • Work directly with customers as a forward-deployed engineer to understand business requirements and accelerate value • Collaborate with product managers, designers, conversation designers, and engineers to define success criteria and communicate tradeoffs, capability, and risk

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field • Strong command of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, system design, concurrency, parallelism, APIs, data modeling, and testing • Experience with Python strongly preferred • Experience with Java, JavaScript, Kubernetes, or GraphQL is a bonus • Experience with Python, MLflow, Weights & Biases, LoRA, PEFT, SageMaker, Vertex AI, AzureML, Kubeflow, Airflow, Prefect, TorchServe, Triton, vLLM, SHAP, LIME, pandas, Spark, and SQL • Comfort working directly with customers under incomplete information and fixed timelines • Demonstrated experience developing reliable and resilient systems • Strong critical thinking and experience integrating AI into engineering processes, SDLC, workflows, or decision making • Familiarity with Operations Research, Vehicle Routing Problems, Mathematical Optimization, or Field Service Management is a plus but not required
