📋 Description

• Review, assess, and create financial models and proposals for new and existing onsite laboratories • Consult with clients and SGS regional and country staff regarding requirements, costs, schedules, and related details • Work with operating affiliates to implement planning, scheduling, and coordination for new onsite laboratory builds and startups • Model onsite laboratory opportunities using information collected from regional teams • Obtain technical and operational sign-off from team and regional management • Prepare or assist with technical proposals and tender submissions • Communicate with clients to develop opportunities, confirm RFP information, and negotiate to win opportunities for SGS • Schedule and track new onsite laboratory designs, builds, renovations, and expansion projects with local operating teams • Confirm and monitor laboratory equipment purchasing to ensure global standards and appropriate delivery timing

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in a Science or Engineering related program, with strong preference for Geosciences • Technical experience in a geosciences-related profession with some business or personnel management experience • Strong working knowledge of the mining and minerals industry • Proven time management skills and strong attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure • Willingness to work extended and/or irregular hours for global team involvement • Ability to work well with others and independently without supervision • Ability to manage a team • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, fluid, highly professional environment • Superior organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including grammar and composition • Proficiency in languages besides English, such as French, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic, is valuable • Some international travel required • CV must be submitted in English
