• Service medical device diagnostic equipment in the Corpus Christi area • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision • Deliver timely and effective repairs • Train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction • Manage territory financial performance, including revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management • Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts • Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers • Perform necessary administrative duties accurately • Work independently and in an established team setting • Meet vendor credentialing requirements for access to client sites
• Minimum high school diploma required; technical associate degree or equivalent preferred • 3+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments • Knowledge and experience servicing, performing preventative maintenance, and modifying medical diagnostic equipment at customer sites • Experience testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment • Strong customer service and communication skills • Proficiency using tools and service test equipment • General understanding of electricity, power supplies, and grounding • Proficiency in network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, and NAM Customer Service website Engineer Tools • Ability to work individually and in an established team setting • Valid driver's license in the state of residence • Ability to drive independently day and night with a good driving record • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, and fine-grasping tasks • Good vision and ability to work alone • Excellent judgment in customer relations and company resource management • Strong competency in mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology for instrument systems • Experience with electronics, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems • Must meet applicable client vendor credentialing requirements, which may include identification verification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training • Must be able to work with controlled technology under U.S. export control law
